How will AI reshape decision-making, work, and creativity? Join us for a seminar featuring speakers exploring the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent system, from responsibility and trust to the future of expertise, creativity, and organisations.

Previously, Media Evolution and Invest in Skåne also presented a seminar on the same topic;Signals of AI, where four speakers shared perspectives from their respective fields, offering glimpses into emerging developments and future emerging directions.

Speakers

Petter Ericson

Petter is a Staff Scientist at the AI Policy Lab which is hosted by the Department of Computing Science, Umeå University. His research focuses on the interplay between technology, society and politics, with a particular focus on the technopolitics of Artificial Intelligence, including how various types of AI and the narratives around AI interact with the valorization of labour and expertise.

Ebba Lindgren

Ebba is a Malmö-based designer whose practice moves between explorative furniture making and more conceptual work within curating, exhibition design and artistic research. Alongside her design practice, she is investigating how Artificial Intelligence affects creatives, and their responses to the technology. Ebba has an MFA in Industrial Design and runs a local freelance office called Streck.

Isabela Bolotti

Isabela is the founder of Meridian, a consultancy working with organisations on AI transformation with a human-first approach. She is an engineer who spent eleven years at Novo Nordisk, where she led global programmes in manufacturing intelligence, predictive maintenance and computer vision, working with Microsoft and Siemens, and rolled out AI-enabled solutions across more than 100 production lines. Her work now focuses on what happens to people and organisations when AI enters the work itself: which capabilities become valuable, and how to design environments where both people and technology do well. She works across the Nordics, Europe and Brazil, and is based in Malmö.

Moderator: Kristin Heinonen

Kristin is a Program Manager at AI Sweden, where she leads the organization's largest international AI upskilling project to date, training 13,000 professionals across five countries. Her background includes experience at an AI startup and leadership roles within digital agencies, working strategically with both large-scale corporations and the public sector. She is particularly passionate about how artificial intelligence will impact the labor market and the changing role of the professional in an AI-driven work environment.

Context

This seminar is organised in collaboration with Invest in Skåne, as part of a broader series of AI-focused conferences and events taking place across the region this autumn. Together, they bring researchers, developers, investors, industry leaders and other curious minds to the region to explore how emerging technologies are shaping our future.
