Summer Block Party brings together a wide range of activities such as workshops, guided tours, open offices, installations, lectures, exhibitions, demos, networking, meet-ups, food, film screenings and music.

The event is hosted by companies, organisations and local communities in the area where Universitetsholmen, Varvsstaden and Dockan meet, all working towards making the neighbourhood an open, lively and collaborative place. Summer Block Party is a collective effort by the local community in the area, organised by ABC Södra Varvsbassängen with support from The City of Malmö.

The 2026 edition is currently in development, and the program will be announced in May. We welcome professionals, students, organisations and initiatives with a connection to the area who want to be part of shaping the next edition. Get in touch with Freja to learn more.
