Media Evolution is opening a library! A Futures Library. An ever evolving community library. A space for research, inspiration and contemplation. To celebrate it and the many people’s effort in suggesting and contributing books we host an opening party. You are invited!

Located by the entrance of our building at Stora varvsgatan 6, Malmö, the library is a space to explore new avenues, pause, read, contemplate and debate. The Futures Library features books on Futures, Foresight, Us and Technology, Systems and Sustainability, Us and Time, Cities and Habitats, and Personal and Organisational Development.

The opening celebration will feature readings by Malmö’s City Librarian Åsa Sandström and Sara Kjellberg, Library Director at Malmö University.

With the library we are connecting our foresight work (Collaborative Foresight, The Conference etcetera) with our place at Stora Varvsgatan 6.

Earlier in the day we’re hosting a Books and Croissant and a Seminar and Book Launch on Futures of Sounds and Song – most welcome register for them as well.

The Futures Library was initiated by Media Evolution, funded by Malmö Förskönings- och planteringförening, designed by Wingårdhs and built by Jerker inredning.
