Annita works with Participatory Design, Community Engagement and Facilitation, especially focusing on sustainable and democratic transitions. Participation for her is a way of designing that looks into a case through and with its users, goes into systems to make sure that the outcomes are effective, less resources are wasted (time, money, materials, expectations) and that people involved leave the process feeling agency. She cares for gender equity, cultural diversity, and more-than-human perspectives. Her background is in architecture and interaction design and her practice combines design thinking, interpersonal skills and creativity.
