World’s Best Morning “Be nice. Do good. Think CSR.”

Seminar: World’s Best Morning “Be nice. Do good. Think CSR.”
8th of  December, 2017 – 08am – 9.30am

We love Fridays. And breakfast. And our community. Combine the three of them and you get the ”World’s Best Morning”.

In the month of December, the theme is “Sharing is Caring” within our community. What could be better than to help fulfill dreams of young people?

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is not going to solve the world’s problems. But CSR is a way for companies to benefit themselves whilst sharing benefits with society.

In Sweden today, 11 % of the population aged 20–24 belong to the group of so called NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). At the same time, companies in sectors like technology, health-care and construction are struggling to find employees.

My Dream Now is an organisation that engages volunteers from businesses to inspire young people to find opportunities for themselves in working life. During the school year 2016/2017 the program enabled 180 employers to meet with 1700 high school students in focus areas like Tensta, Biskopsgården and Rosengård.

Join Class coach of My Dream Now, Patrik Lundberg from Skanska (partner of the project), Regional Manager for My Dream Now, Isaac Haasén and Program Administrator from My Dream Now, Anna-Maria Jovic for a story about CSR in practice – and how we all can help young people fulfill their dreams.
