Arbetsförmedlingen’s (the Swedish Public Employment Service) fundamental mandate is to match job vacancies with job seekers. This encompasses a very wide spectrum of direct and supporting services. Arbetsförmedlingen is right now undergoing what can be seen as a digitalization revolution where we transform the way we interface with our clients so you can, when and where you want, look for qualified workers, or look for suitable jobs.
Launch of New forecast for the Swedish labour market
Twice a year, Arbetsförmedlingen carries out a nation-wide interview based, forecast survey among employers in both the private and public sectors to take the pulse of their recruitment needs. “- Skånes labour market continues to roll full steam ahead, but many employers witness increasing difficulty in finding enough workers with the training, skills and experience that they need!” What kind of important consequences will come out of this? How will it harm Sweden’s economic growth and wealth?
To get a broader perspective, we invited a company to join us in this conversation.
While Massive Entertainment primarily recruits through global channels, they cooperate with Arbetsförmedlingen to help find work for accompanying family members who follow along to Sweden. This is a group that has grown over recent years, and this poses a new, increasing challenge for the company, and any other growing employer that strives to hire the best talent, including from outside of the country. If accompanying spouses and partners are not able to find work in Sweden, then there is a high risk that new recruits recently hired by Massive Entertainment, won’t stay and be a part of contributing to Sweden’s growth and prosperity. Cooperation with Arbetsförmedlingen in finding employment for accompanying family members is thus critical to business performance and growth. Carma will share her experiences as an accompanying spouse to her husband who chose to work at Massive.
