IKEA Indirect Material and Services (IKEA IMS) is a global organisation responsible for purchasing and supplying smart solutions for products and services needed to operate the IKEA business.
IKEA IMS contribute to the IKEA vision – “to create a better everyday life for the many people” – and business idea – “to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them” – by enabling conditions for a low cost operation and greater customer experience.
With offices in Älmhult, Malmö, Philadelphia, Wiesbaden and Shanghai and national purchasers in almost every country in which IKEA operates, we conclude framework agreements for services such as cleaning, waste management, security, TV-commercials and IT solutions. As an equipment supplier, we offer everything from warehouse racking and forklifts, to co-worker clothing, laminate flooring and lighting.
